I have turned 23 and to celebrate, what else would a foodie do but have a tea party (with boxes of wine of course)!

I thought I would share some of the beautiful food that we enjoyed...

and creamy mushroom puff pastries

I have to share my birthday with a pumpkin!

Roast pork, jacket potatoes and salad, everyone helps

themselves for a simple, relaxed get-together

The desserts: Amazing chocolate birthday cake,

Nigella's lemon meringue cake and a beautiful fruit flan

The bright colours work so well against the dark chocolate background
